Ingrid, Paddy and Simone,
Johanna and I were so sad to hear of Peter's passing. We had been to see him several times after his injury and were amazed by his optimistic outlook on life. He always had a good story to tell. My favorite was his visit to the Woodstock music festival in 1969. I couldn't believe it! He was there and the music event of the century! He heard Jimi Hendrix play "The Star-Spangled Banner!" He like Joe Cocker's performance the best. It rained for most of the Jefferson Airplane's set. He was covered in mud like everyone else! How he managed to arrive at the concert and return to New York City was an even better story involving buses, hitch-hiking and walking.
Peter always enriched the lives of the people around him. I will always remember him fondly.
